Alpha Karting was founded by Pierre and Patrice Sabatier in 1977. The first chassis has been designed and manufactured directly by the brand. * In 1989 Alpha Karting has created the "Challenge Hexagon", which was taken by the French Federation of Motorsport under the name of "Promo Category". * In 1991 IAME entrusts French co-import of its engines to Alpha Karting. * In 1995, Vega moved to Alès, France and created a "Pole Innovation" with the Alpha Karting brand . * In 1996 Alpha Karting moved to P.I.S.T. Oasis Alès. Then the rental department was created. * In 1999, the "Pôle Mécanique" was created in Alès. Thus, Alpha Karting was able to develop its chassis. * In 2000 Alpha Karting has created the KTCS (Kart Technology Composite System).
